All payments made to Summit Tax and Accounting, LLC are for professional services rendered.
Non-Refundable Fees
Fees are non-refundable once work begins, unless otherwise expressly stated in a signed engagement or service agreement. For purposes of this policy, "work" includes, but is not limited to:
- Consultations or strategy discussions
- Review or analysis of information or documents
- Tax preparation, research, planning, and advisory services
- Time spent evaluating client submissions or responding to inquiries
Billing Errors and Exceptional Circumstances
If you believe you were charged in error or believe a refund may be warranted due to exceptional circumstances, please notify us in writing within seven (7) days of payment at [email protected — click to reveal]. Refund requests are reviewed on a case-by-case basis at our sole discretion. Submission of a request does not guarantee a refund.
Subscription and Recurring Payments
For subscription-based or recurring services, you may cancel future charges by providing written notice at least five (5) business days prior to your next billing date. Cancellation applies to future charges only and does not retroactively refund fees already incurred or services already provided.
Engagement Agreements Control
If there is a conflict between this Refund Policy and the terms of a signed engagement or service agreement, the signed agreement controls. Certain information may be retained as required for legal, regulatory, or recordkeeping purposes, even if services are discontinued.
